Since the beginning of this year, John Mayer has been uniquely promoting his first major studio album since 2013’s Paradise Valley, The Search for Everything. Adopting a creative approach to release strategy, the veteran rocker has been releasing multi-track parts of the project to support and push the LP, eschewing the traditional single-based approach in favor of something more memorable. Now, Mayer is hitting up the late night circuit for some new album promo.
Taking to the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the multi-talented musician and his backup band serve up two spirited performances. Along with a live, pretty standard showcase of The Search For Everything record “Still Feel Like Your Man,” John Mayer and company also have some additional fun with their Kimmel set thanks to Mayer’s new role as “Hank the Hawk Knutley.”
