'Jenkem' Skates Into Music With a Compilation Vinyl Called "Beginnings"
Featuring only crowd-sourced music from ‘Jenkem’ readers.
Jenkem Magazine is getting into the music world with its first ever record release. The project features music from both current and former professional skaters, including the likes of Jamal Smith (PoptartPete) of Palace Skateboards, Ryan Sublette (Adeodat Warfield), Justin Cefai (Xolo) of Diamond Supply Co. and former pro Josiah Gatlyn, skater for Zero and Stereo skateboards.
The record is produced by Ian and Adrian Michna, the former of which founded Jenkem and the latter who is a professional electronic music producer. With only 300 physical records pressed, each product is individually hand-numbered and labeled with cover artist done by Ed Templeton, legendary professional skateboarder, photographer and founder of Toy Machine skateboards.
