Another Look at GYAKUSOU’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

NikeLab and Jun Takahashi’s GYAKUSOU imprint recently released its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, which we visited earlier, however, with the full range now hitting shop shelves, more items have begun to reveal themselves. As with all previous releases, the conceptual focal point was to find a happy medium between innovative technology application and stylistic excellence.
Lightweight windbreakers, vests, long-sleeve pullovers, T-shirts and compression pants form the collection, many of which offer water-resistant capabilities — outside of its functional fit and sporty semblance. Standout pieces from the offering, include the hooded running jacket, which allows the user to remove the hood and sleeves when the need arises, not to mention the Packable long-sleeve jacket — spotlighting perforations and mesh to help keep runners cool.
