Check out the First Official Trailer for 'The Grinch'
Apparently not a fan of Pharrell’s “Happy.”
As a follow up to last year’s initial rumblings, the first official trailer for the upcoming animated film The Grinch has since surfaced. Expected to build upon the Jim Carrey-fronted How The Grinch Stole Christmas, the new adaptation, this time, calls upon Benedict Cumberbatch to play the frumpy Dr. Seuss character.
The short clip exposes the crabby caricature waking up to Pharrell’s “Happy,” and in typical Grinch fashion, shows his pure distaste for anything and everything cheery. Brought to you from the creators of Despicable Me and Minions, the new Grinch film is expected to hit theaters on November 9. In the meantime, check out the short trailer above for a first look.
