Freddie Gibbs Announces New Album 'You Only Live 2wice,’ Shares Single, “Crushed Glass”

It’s been a long time coming, but it appears Freddie Gibbs will be making his long-awaited return. This, following a false rape accusation last year that nearly derailed his entire life and career. He was eventually acquitted and now the Gary, Indiana rapper is looking to come back stronger than ever.

Today, he’s officially announcing a new album called You Only Live 2wice, slated to release on March 31. Accompanying the announcement is the first official single, “Crushed Glass” that finds Gibbs reflecting on his hustling days and his recent legal issues. “I just beat a rape case, groupie bitch I never f*cked/Tried to give me 10 for some p*ssy that I never touched.” Press play above to watch the video for the track.
