Preditah has just released his latest EP, titled Blank Canvas: Vol 1. The five track EP is mostly instrumentals, with the only feature coming from younger brother C4. Speaking to i-D, he explains that the influences behind each track and how they vary from the grime sound he’s known for to orchestral-influenced beats alongside some clear UKG nods. He even describes “Splinter” as being something that “could have easily been a [Nokia] 3310 ringtone back in the day and although that may sound silly, there’s something powerful about a melody that you can remember or reference to people to describe how a tune goes.”
You can listen to the EP below.
