Ferrari Concept Brings Back 1990s Brashness in New 2017 Fall/Winter Collection
An unapologetic offering from the European-inspired label.
Ferrari Concept‘s latest lookbook stays true to the brand’s vision combining short jackets and Matrix-esque trench coats with signature details like bright leather gloves and billowing collars.
If you’re unfamiliar with the label, it’s worth noting that Ferrari Concept is licensed and inspired by Ferrari, but not owned by the luxury car brand. Thanks to this independence, Ferrari Concept has carefully walked a line between irony and sincerity as it channels the sharp confidence of gaudy 1990s European fashion, despite label founder Paige Horinek hailing from LA. The label’s use of brazenly striking colors, classic fits and retro prints harks back to an era of unbuttoned shirts, an abundance of leather and overly tanned supermodels.
