'Fortnite' Is Getting a Guided Missile Launcher
A new trailer shows the weapon in action.
As Fortnite continues to be the biggest trending topic in video games, Epic Games has revealed plans for a significant new weapons delivery and unleashed a trailer to showcase the update.
“Everything you need for your rocket riding taxi service,” reads a caption for the new Fortnite weapon trailer, which shows off a guided missile launcher. Specifically, the aforementioned teaser follows the journey of a fast-moving missile as it propels toward its target. Currently, only a couple projectile explosive options exist for players — even though a recent update added remote bombs to the game.
“We are targeting a 4am ET (8 GMT) release on March 29 for the v3.4 update,” reads the original tweet that announced the latest Fortnite update. “NOTE: There will be extended downtime for this update.”
