DJ Khaled's Newborn Son to Executive Produce His Upcoming Album
“He’s in the studio listening to songs with me and going over the business.”
DJ Khaled made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to discuss his upcoming 10th studio album, Grateful, set to release this summer. During their discussion, Khaled detailed his four-month-old son Asahd’s role in creating the album, saying he not only played a big role in “Shining” with Beyoncé and Jay Z, but has also played a crucial role in his upcoming album through his body language. Apparently, certain expressions and gestures Asahd lets off tell Khaled whether a song will be smash or not. He also recalled the time Asahd threw up on him when he was recording “Shining” and says “believe it or not, the poops and the throw-ups are super blessings.” Meanwhile, some fans still suspect “Shining” to be a Drake diss from Jay Z.
