On the heels of the brand’s military DW 6900 pack, G-SHOCK returns with a new assortment of limited watches. Designed in collaboration with Utah’s CHUMS, the watches celebrate the outdoor brand’s 35th anniversary.
Though CHUMS has enjoyed three and half decades in Hurricane, Utah, the watches were made for the label’s Japanese fanbase. Japan’s love of outdoors clothing and exploration has made the brand a favorite in the East, but the watch’s design taps into CHUMS’s American heritage with a commemorative design. A range of customized features accent the design: an American flag encircles the face, the brand’s booby bird logo is projected inside the display, the strap displays more CHUMS branding and a celebratory anniversary design is engraved on the rear of the watch. Naturally, the accessory is packaged inside a Stars-And-Stripes-bearing box.
