In February it was announced Chanel would contribute $30 million USD to renovations for the Grand Palais, set to finish for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Today, the timeless fashion authority revealed Cruise 2019 will be presented on May 3 at the storied venue. The news follows its controversial Fall/Winter 2018 showcase staged in a forest where dissenters commented about the label’s removal of 100-year-old trees. As expected, Karl Lagerfeld creations will litter the catwalk marking over 30 years of leadership.
