APPortfolio Teams up With Sorayama, POSE, Zebu and Craig & Karl on a Set of Limited Edition Skate Decks
Releasing exclusively at Lane Crawford.
With Art Basel Hong Kong arriving at the end of the month, luxury fashion and lifestyle boutique Lane Crawford has once again teamed up with international art organization APPortfolio. Along with the duo, four well-known artists including Hajime Sorayama, POSE, Zebu and Craig & Karl have created the art project “What is ART?” which will span across installations, exhibitions, on-site creations and products.
As part of the special collaborative efforts, a line of limited edition skate decks will be available to purchase. The four aforementioned artists’s work will be featured on 7 desks, each incorporating their artists’ signature visuals. Each deck will be limited to 300 pieces and will include hand-written independent edition numbers.
Famed Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama has also created a sleek robot teddy bear for the capsule. Limited to 400 pieces, each bear will include a specific limited edition number embroidered on it.
The skate decks and bear will go on sale March 21 at Lane Crawford retailers across Hong Kong and Mainland China. Head over to APPortfolio’s website for more info.
