The adidas Originals Deerupt Brings the Grid to Asia

adidas Originals draws inspiration from the grid support structure that appeared on the brand’s New York runner and Marathon Training designs from the 1980’s to produce its latest silhouette, the Deerupt. The brand has evolved the concept of “the grid” and used it as the basis of the entire design, with grid mesh encompassing the entirety of the shoe. Embodying the design heritage of the brand but reinterpreting it for a new generation, the Deerupt approaches the grid design as an all encompassing aesthetic philosophy rather than a simple design gimmick. Launching in a single, distinctive colorway of a red upper and blue midsole, the adidas Deerupt launches worldwide on March 22 and will be available from the Asia adidas web store.
