Sampha, Jenn Wasner & More Pay Tribute to Prince in New Google Ad
Singing their own renditions of “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
We haven’t heard too much about Google’s Pixel phone since the end of last year, but that’s probably because the tech giant was waiting for the right moment to launch its latest campaign. Sure enough a fitting new clip for the gadget was aired during the Grammys, which featured various artists including Sampha and Jenn Wasner paying tribute to Prince with their own renditions of “Nothing Compares 2 U.” Admittedly, the spot doesn’t reveal too much about the phone itself but it’s a pleasant watch nevertheless.
