Palm Angels Teases Moncler Genius Collaboration
Apparently including pink Suicoke sandals.
Hot on the heels of Moncler’s attention-grabbing Genius announcement, which features collaborations with luminaries from Hiroshi Fujiwara to COMME des GARÇONS alum Kei Ninomiya, Palm Angels‘s Francesco Ragazzi took to Instagram to tease his upcoming Genius goods.
Little can be seen about the collaborative jacket aside from its black, quilted outer and red-inflected logo. Time will tell how the designer plans to inject his signature style into the brand’s ethos, with the pair of collaborative Suicoke sandals possibly serving as a taste of things to come. Executed in light red and pink, the strappy slides offer an array of co-branding and Suicoke’s signature Vibram footbed. Palm Angels logos cover the straps, both in contrasting white and subtle embossed black, while Moncler’s branding divides the type. Considering that Ragazzi accompanied the sandals post with “SAMPLE.” it’s possible that this isn’t the final iteration of the shoes.
