Nike Outfits the OG-Inspired Air Huarache '91 in "Purple Punch"
Another nostalgic nod to past styles.
Last week, Nike gave the Air Huarache the “Ultramarine” treatment, injecting a bit of nostalgia into the silhouette’s lineup. Now, the Swoosh is further using past influences to rejuvenate the Air Huarache with a “Purple Punch” take on the Air Huarache ‘91.
Outfitted in white, black and an eye-catching purple, the new “Purple Punch” Air Huarache ‘91 boasts a neoprene and leather build, as well as a rubber heel section. Adding to its throwback style, this latest Huarache also boasts “Nike Air” branding that brings back memories of past eras of Air sneakers.
You can check out the Nike Air Huarache ‘91 in “Purple Punch” above, while the sneaker itself will arrive sometime in March and retail for $130 USD.
Last fall, Nike brought back the OG Air Huarache in a white, blue, pink and black colorway.
