After revealing that Netflix came out on top in regards to social media buzz, another big-time winner during the festivities was, of course, Lady Gaga. According to ABC News, her impressive halftime performance resulted in a 1,000% surge in her digital sales. Selling 15,000 units of combined songs and albums the day prior, the pop star impressively saw her sales increase the day of Super Bowl LI to 150,000 units.
To add more fuel to the fire, Gaga capitalized on the 111.3 millions viewers with the announcement of her forthcoming world tour for 2017 dubbed ‘Joanne.’
