Michael B. Jordan & Michael Shannon Star in HBO's 'Fahrenheit 451' Adaptation
“By the time you guys grow up, there won’t be one book left.”
Michael B. Jordan evokes the angst of Killmonger once more for HBO‘s upcoming film adaptation of Fahrenheit 451. Based on the 1953 novel that fills high school English curriculums around the country, the film takes place in a dystopian society where books are outlawed and firemen are ordered to set aflame any piece of publication they find. In the trailer above, we Follow Jordan as the film’s fireman protagonist Guy Montag, alongside his mentor/captain, played by Michael Shannon. The narration talks the dangers of books, and as a result, the dangers of freethinking in general.
Fahrenheit 451 is slated to premiere later this spring.
