Frank Ocean Drops Surprise "Moon River" Cover

After hinting at a promising year back in January, Frank Ocean has dropped his first track of 2018. The track — a cover of “Moon River” from the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffanys — was posted as a Valentine’s Day release on the official Blonded YouTube channel. The track was originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in the film, and the new version sees Ocean sing over sparse instrumentation.

Although this is Ocean’s first musical release of the year, the singer did recently interview actor Timothée Chalamet for the latest issue of VMANStream the “Moon River” cover above, and let us know if you think this means there could be more Frank Ocean music over the course of the year.
