Originally making its debut back in 1987, the Nike Air Safari is getting to relive some of its former glory — recently showing up in a black/tan/grey colorway combo. The Tinker Hatfield-designed runner has since surfaced in a tonal “Triple Black” color scheme with signature safari print overlays landing on the toe, heel and collar.
Premium leather comprises the upper, while the matching-hued rubber outsole sitting below rounds out the monochromatic rendition. As per Nike Japan, the Air Safari “Triple Black” will make its debut on February 17 at select overseas Nike retailers for a price of ¥11,880 JPY (approximately $112 USD) with a stateside release also expected soon.
