F1's Hot Laps Program Lets You Ride Alongside the World's Best Drivers
It launches at the 2018 Bahrain Grand Prix.

Formula 1 has launched a new Hot Laps program in collaboration with Pirelli. It will allow fans of the sport get as close to it as possible, riding around real F1 tracks with some of the world’s best drivers. Aston Martin and McLaren are the first two manufacturers to sign onto the program, with more car makers to be announced in the near future.
The Hot Laps will commence at the 2018 Bahrain Grand Prix, with the enlisted drivers being Fernando Alonso, Mika Häkkinen, Lando Norris and Stoffel Vandoorne for McLaren while Aston Martin will have Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo taking part. There’s no word on the price as of yet, but all signs point to it being one for those with some extra money in their pockets.
One rider who’s not signed on yet is Lewis Hamilton, but he did recently go sneaker shopping and talk Jerry Lorenzo and PUMA.
