DYNE Spotlights Boy Scout-Inspired Garments for Fall/Winter 2018
Utilitarian wares with striking graphics.
Christopher Bevans of DYNE is off to great start this year, especially after having won the International Woolmark Prize for Innovation. The Portland-based designer, who formerly worked for Billionaire Boys Club, Rocawear, and Nike, recently unveiled DYNE’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection for New York Fashion Week Men’s.
The cold-season range offers varying takes on utilitarian apparel with a modish tribute to boy scouts by embellishing multiple patches on certain pieces to symbolize peace. Standout items include elongated down jackets with neon-colored lining, collared blousons with generous padding, down vests with front snap closures, color-blocked sweatpants, and tonal black berets with intricate embroidery.
