CIVILIZED Brings Monochrome Minimalism to Techwear for Fall/Winter 2018
An artful balance between function and form.

Back in December of last year, Japanese brand CIVILIZED delivered an impressive, monochrome range of minimalist activewear for its Spring/Summer 2018 lineup. Focused on experiment, forward-thinking tailoring and an exceptional attention to detail, CIVILIZED founder, creative architect and lead designer Satoshi Okugawa emphasized “design over trends” and superior function and form when crafting the collection. Continuing down that path, CIVILIZED has revealed plans for a high-profile debut in support of its Fall/Winter 2018.
While the CIVILIZED team has only shared a preview of its forthcoming drop, the brief editorial should give you a solid idea of what to expect once it arrives. Like many of CIVILIZED’s previous releases, the aim here is straightforward: with a commitment to artful minimalism and well-constructed gear, Okugawa intends to give his cult following refined techwear influenced by a progressive take on menswear.
You can take check out a teaser for CIVILIZED’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2018 showcase above. The full collection will be on display at the brand’s Tokyo flagship from February 13 – 22.
Around this same time last year, CIVILIZED was focused on promoting its Spring/Summer 2017 run.
