Japan’s CIVILIZED has carved out a nice niche for itself over the years with its focus on technical goods that perfectly balance form and function. Naturally, the enigmatic label’s Spring/Summer 2017 release is a perfect continuation of its ethos as designer Satoshi Okugawa presents his latest looks. An apt followup to his Fall/Winter 2016 drop, Okugawa’s new spring/summer release once again comes draped in black and white and, this time, ditches the heavyweight fabrics that characterized some of the cold-weather pieces in favor of seasonally-apropos nylon and cotton. Highlights include everything from streamlined lightweight outerwear and layered sportswear to short-sleeved button-downs, cardigans, blazers, slim denim and other basics.

Expect CIVILIZED’s Spring/Summer 2017 release to be available soon online and at select retailers.
