UNDERCOVER's Latest Capsule Highlights the Work of Cindy Sherman
Featuring the artist’s “Untitled Film Stills” series.
After putting on a Stanley Kubrick-inspired Fall/Winter 2018 presentation at Pitti Uomo 93, UNDERCOVER recently dropped a Cindy Sherman capsule collection that’s available to purchase now.
Continuing its penchant for highlighting notable works from other creative mediums, this time around, UNDERCOVER draws from Cindy Sherman’s iconic self-portraiture series, “Untitled Film Stills.” Considered Sherman’s most recognizable work, the collection of self-portrait sees the artist enacting female clichés of 20th-century pop culture. The capsule collection spotlights three stills from the series by emblazoning them on black sweaters framed by Sherman’s name in bold white typography.
Priced at $325 USD, the Cindy Sherman x UNDERCOVER capsule collection is available now online at DSM’s web store and at Dover Street Market locations.
