BMW i8 Roadster to Touch Down Next Month

BMW introduced its newest flagship hybrid sports car the i8 Roadster late last year, and now the upgraded version of the i8 coupe has an official release date. According to reports, the starting price will be $164,295 USD with a $995 USD destination charge.
In addition to its standard features, the new Roadster highlights 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, heated seats, and a head-up display. Optional laser lights will cost an additional $6,300 USD. Other optional components like black brake calipers and ceramic controls go for $2,500 USD while premium color swaps are $1,800 USD, bumping up the total price to $175,000 USD. Like it’s older coupe brother, both reach identical top speeds and can travel up to 33 miles on electric power at speeds of 65 mph or 75 mph in the eDrive mode.
