A Closer Look at the Upcoming adidas x C.P. Company Collaboration

adidas has teamed up with iconic Italian outerwear brand C.P. Company on a two-piece collaboration featuring the Three Stripes’ new Kamanda sneaker and C.P.’s famous Mille Miglia jacket, aka Goggle Jacket, from the ’80s.

The collaboration continues the legacy of C.P. Company founder Massimo Osti‘s expertise in fabrication and garment dye with a bold blood orange hue that covers both the Goggle jacket and Kamanda sneaker’s suede upper. The Goggle jacket features a hybrid cap-hood that zips up over the head, covering the face entirely, except for two built-in lensed goggles (hence the garment name). A watch-viewer at the wrist, technical pockets, windows and zips throughout the body add to the utilitarian advantage.

The Kamanda sneaker features a buttery suede upper, mesh-weave tongue tab, white leather heel tab, gold-embossed insignia at the side, and sculpted gum sole. adidas and C.P. co-branding are found at the tongue tab and insoles to round out the collaborative design.
