Yasiin Bey Has Three Albums on the Way
Including new music with Tame Impala and Mannie Fresh.
Not long after he was allowed to depart from South Africa, Yasiin Bey announced that he and Ferrari Sheppard would be releasing a collaborative album under the moniker Dec 99th. The man formerly known as Mos Def now announces that he has new music on top of that. The Brooklyn rapper says that he will release two additional albums, including a joint project with Mannie Fresh. During an interview on WNL Radio, Bey shared: “I will be premiering my new album, Negus In Natural Person, and me and Mannie Fresh’s project, which is called As Promised, at The Apollo on Dec. 21.” After the announcement, he dropped several song premieres; check them out below.
