'Luke Cage' Officially Returning to Netflix for Season 2

Marvel has announced that Luke Cage is returning to Netflix for its second season. Revealed via a teaser trailer on Twitter showing the outside of Pop’s Barbershop, the camera pans onto a neon-lit sign which reads “Season 2 Coming Soon.”

The tweet is accompanied by Pop’s persistent motto, “Always Forward.” Starring Mike Colter as Harlem’s bulletproof hero, Luke Cage will become the third Marvel series renewed for a second season on Netflix. While there’s no word yet on when the episodes will drop, we expect a binge-worthy follow-up to the first season, with plenty of action-packed moments.
