Vans Drops Its Deconstructed Sk8-Hi in Black
With one plain shoe and one checkerboard design.
Following on from the re-release of its “Inside Out” Sk8-Hi in white, Vans has returned with another deconstructed take on the iconic skate silhouette. The new black colorway of the Sk8-Hi features a number of touches including a lateral zipper, alternatating lacing loops, re-positioned Vans branding and alternate detailing on both the heel and midsole.
The new colorway also features an asymmetric design, with the left shoe coming in a black suede while the right features a range of other touches including a black and grey checkerboard print and a small black and white checkerboard patch on the midsole. The sneaker is available now from the Vans web store.
For a more eye-catching Sk8-Hi, Vans recently dropped a multi-colored patchwork design.
