A Full Look At Burberry & Vivenne Westwood's New Collaboration
Westwood’s archive meets the Burberry check.
After Riccardo Tisci first announced the collaboration back in July, Burberry and Vivienne Westwood have officially revealed the joint release. The campaign imagery — which features Kate Moss and was shot by David Sims — showcases the collection inspired by some of Westwood’s most iconic collections from the past.
Classic Westwood pieces including double-breasted jackets, highwaisted trousers and an oversized collar shirt — as well as accessories including a tie and a beret — have been reworked into Burberry’s Vintage check. Another key piece in the collection is an oversized T-shirt dedicated to Cool Earth — a UK-based non-profit that works with rainforest communities to stop deforestation and climate change — featuring a handwritten message from Westwood. Westwood will also customize four exclusive items from the collection, which will be auctioned for Cool Earth. The full collection is available from the Burberry web store now.
