BYBORRE Enlists Yué Wu for Special Scarf Collection
A graphic design that spans across 7 scarves.
After releasing its Mastering Knits collection last month, renowned knitwear innovation studio BYBORRE is back for another special release, this time in collaboration with Parisian artist Yué Wu.
This new project celebrates Borre Akkersdijk of BYBORRE and Yué Wu’s longstanding friendship, which is depicted via a graphic that spans across 7 unique scarf designs. The artwork is illustrated in Yué’s signature style and knitted directly into BYBORRE’s fabric by changing the yarn colors. The labor-intensive process utilizes in-house machines that require over 2,000 needles to create the intricate image.
The Yué Wu x BYBORRE scarf collection is available now for €189 EUR ($214 USD) a piece at BYBORRE’s web store.
