Arc’teryx has long affirmed the superiority of GORE-TEX technology, and the company’s latest in-house video shines some light on the duo’s history and the functionality of W.L. Gore and Associates’ products. After taking a chance on Arc’teryx’s debut collection in the late ’90s, the companies have remained staunch partners; Arc’teryx still maintains that GORE-TEX is far superior to all competitors, and puts the products through rigorous tests to ensure their reliability. W.L. Gore’s Strategic Account Manager, Mike Sullivan, underlines the growth that both parties have experienced together: “Our R&D team at Gore has a relationship with the senior R&D team at Arc’teryx,” he says, noting that this is an unusually symbiotic relationship between customer and supplier.
