Allen Iverson Unveils Glow-in-the-Dark Reebok Answer 1 in Shanghai
UNIK celebrates 15 years with a legend.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Shanghai-based retailer UNIK have just released a special version of Allen Iverson‘s second signature sneaker — the Reebok Answer 1 (DMX 10). The in-store unveiling was made extra special as Allen Iverson blessed Chinese basketball devotees by showing up to the launch to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
UNIK’s collaborative Reebok Answer 1 delivers a clean colorway as layers of grey and teal are stacked on top of each other using different materials. The uppers see suede combined with nubuck leather and synthetic material, while a contrasting teal I3 logo along with a glow-in-the-dark outsole round out the shoe. Other details include a UNIK label tag at the lateral side of the toe, and a special insole featuring the mascot from AI’s college team — Jack the Bulldog of the Georgetown Hoyas.
