SSZ and Vans Collaborate for a Special Take on the Old Skool

SSZ‘s Tadayuki Kato recently took to Instagram to share an upcoming collaboration with Vans. Coming off its recent collaboration with Cav Empt, the upcoming Vans Old Skool keeps in line with SSZ’s aesthetic in giving its products a more vintage and deconstructed look.
At first glance, the most intriguing part of the trainer can be seen in the double tongue; a second tongue has been reversed to expose the manufacturing details, and applied to act as a lace guard. Other details include cream-colored uppers, a clear-bottom waffle outsole, and black calf leather around the ankle. Look for these to drop at BEAMS Tokyo on November 17.
