The Diplomats Deliver First Album in 14 Years, 'Diplomatic Ties'
Nine new tracks from the legendary Harlem group.

Last month, Jim Jones announced plans for a new Diplomats album, Diplomatic Ties.
“On Thanksgiving, there will be a Diplomats album dropping,” Jim Jones told the crowd that had gathered for his group’s A3C recent performance. “It’s called Diplomatic Ties. We’ve been in the studio and we appreciate the love.”
Now, following the release of singles like “Sauce Boyz” and “On God,” Diplomatic Ties is finally here and available for streaming in its entirety.
Notably, Diplomatic Ties is made up of nine new tracks, including collaborations with Tory Lanez, The Lox, Trav and Belly. The LP serves as the group’s first full-length studio project in 14 years, having emerged as the follow-up to 2004’s Diplomatic Immunity 2.

Earlier this week, we reported that Cam’ron dissed Kanye West on the Diplomatic Ties opener.
