Anderson .Paak & Kaytranada Join Talib Kweli for "Traveling Light"
The latest ‘Radio Silence’ single.

Two years after the release of his last studio album Fuck the Money, Talib Kweli is readying his next major LP, Radio Silence. Amidst Black Star reunions and a collaborations across the board, the rap veteran has taken some time to introduce his new album’s most significant single yet.
Titled “Traveling Light,” Kweli’s latest finds him spitting bars over a nostalgic, horn-heavy beat from Kaytranada; for his other musical collaborator, the 42-year-old Brooklyn champion has enlisted the inimitable talents of Anderson. Paak. Besides today’s record, fans can expect Talib Kweli’s other songs to take their inspirational cues from the current political climate and the classic sounds of funk, soul, R&B and the hip-hop that motivates Kweli the most. “Vibe is more important than the bars,” Kweli tells Zane Lowe. “If the vibe ain’t right, it doesn’t matter what you’re saying.”
Debuted during an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program, Talib Kweli’s Anderson. Paak- and Kaytranada-assisted single “Traveling Light” can be streamed below. Besides his behind-the-boards work here, Kaytra is also planning to aid MF DOOM in executive-producing the new Bishop Nehru project. Next up from Anderson .Paak: a very special NxWorries remix project for Yes Lawd!
