Takeoff Transports to the Year 2092 for Futuristic "Casper" Video
The third ‘Last Rocket’ single is brought to life.
At the start of this month, Takeoff released his first album as a solo artist, The Last Rocket. Continuing to support that LP, the Migos superstar returns with a new video for album cut “Casper.”
Notably, “Casper” serves as the third The Last Rocket single and features production from the duo of Cassius Jay and Nonstop Da Hitman. The visual comes to us courtesy of director Gabriel Hart, who puts Takeoff and company in a futuristic, extraterrestrial setting. “Casper” is one of the 12 solo selections that make up Takeoff’s Last Rocket project.
“I’m turnin’ the page on n***as / I waited days, remember?” Takeoff raps. “Been had that fame on the side of my hood / Swear it couldn’t change a n***a (How?) / You n***as are slow/ I can beat you runnin’ backwards / The way I ghost ride the Wraith / Thought you would’ve seen Casper.”

Most recently, Takeoff hit the Tonight Show stage to perform “Last Memory.”
