A classic 1976 Porsche 935 is set to go up for auction later this year. Famed for its dominating presence on the race track, the 935 was recently revived by the German automaker and remains extremely desirable in good condition, with a unique silhouette unlike anything seen in the years since.
Purchased the same year that the 935 was introduced, the car boasts a variety of optional detailing — including Pirelli tires, a black roof liner and rear fog lights. It was later modified by Germany’s Kremer Racing with a 935k package, custom fiberglass bodywork and power-adjustable Zender bucket seats to match the special-order green doors, carpet and dashboard. Currently the vehicle retains the Kremer mods with under 41,000 miles on the odometer, a 3.0-liter flat six engine and Fuchs alloy wheels color-matched to its repainted Ice Green Metallic body.
Take a closer look at the ultra-rare automobile on the Sotheby’s website. The auction goes down on December 8.
Elsewhere, Sotheby’s is also offering a gold scale model Ford GT.
