J.I.D and J. Cole Connect on “Off Deez”
Tne record is produced by ChaseTheMoney.
J.I.D connects with J. Cole for “Off Deez” off the Atlanta native’s highly anticipated DiCaprio 2 project, which drops later this month on Nov. 26. The new song follows up previously released single “151 Rum.”
The ChaseTheMoney-produced track finds both Dreamville labelmates flexing their lyrical muscle as they rattle off bars with a double-time flow. “Okay, East Atlanta playboy, don’t got much to say, boy/Cradle to the grave, and it’s been like this since a slave, boy,” J.I.D. raps. Cole comes in and hits the song out of the park, “Perfect time to pop up (Woah), wet you like the hot tub (Woah)/Clean up Aisle 7, damn somebody gettin’ mopped up (Woah).”
