First Look at the BAPE x Bell & Ross Exclusive Camo Timepiece
The watchmaker also teased a camo racing plane.
Japanese streetwear label A Bathing Ape rolls out its next 25th Anniversary luxury collaboration, this time with legacy watchmaker Bell & Ross.
The French watch brand adopts the iconic BAPE Camo — particularly its 1st Camo in green — across the dial of the 03-92 Type 42 timepiece. Not much is known currently about the specifics for the collaborative piece, but the standard BR 03-92 utilizes a precise BR-CAL.302 movement inside a ceramic case held across a military-grade rubber strap. Co-branding and BAPE slogan “APES TOGETHER STRONG” help ID this watch from a standard edition, while keeping the core looks of the Bell & Ross favorite. The company’s origins are from aeronautical designs and aesthetics, which is remarked upon with the duo’s collaborative teaser — a Bell & Ross-developed Racing Bird plane is clad all over with BAPE camo, hinting at potentially more to the collaboration.
