Freddie Gibbs Connects With FEYNMAN For "The Wave"
Ahead of his European tour.
Earlier this year, Freddie Gibbs returned to the scene with a powerful new studio album titled You Only Live 2wice. Following an expansive North American tour in support of the aforementioned LP and a visually-striking clip for album cut “Andrea,” Gangsta Gibbs links up with French beatsmith FEYNMAN for a new single dubbed “The Wave.”
Released ahead of Gibbs’ upcoming European trek, “The Wave” serves as the new lead single in support of its producer’s new Illusions II project. As he always does, Gibbs lights up the mic when it comes time to spit; from melodic flows to the hardest-hitting gangsta rap out there, the cult-favorite rapper has mastered it all. Concerning Gibbs’ next moves, don’t be surprised if some new records with his Pinata collaborator Madlib start popping up.
