A New D'Angelo Song Might Be in 'Red Dead Redemption 2'
It’s reportedly called “May I?”
Even though D’Angelo has been working on new music for the better part of this year, we have yet to hear news regarding the follow-up to 2014’s acclaimed Black Messiah LP. However, as Stereogum and other outlets note, a new D’Angelo track might in the new game Red Dead Redemption 2.
Specifically, several online observers have reported that an unreleased D’Angelo track comes in between two missions that take place in Red Dead Redemption 2’s fifth chapter. Although Rockstar News and D’Angelo’s team have yet to officially acknowledge this news,” the song is reportedly called “May I?” One thing’s for sure: as this unofficial stream shows, the aforementioned music does sound a lot like D’Angelo.
