Lonzo Ball Reveals New Big Baller Brand Signature Sneaker, the ZO2.19
With a much more reasonable price tag.
With the Lakers season tipping off their 2018-19 season tomorrow, October 19, against the Blazers, Lonzo Ball has unveiled his new Big Baller Brand signature sneaker, the ZO2.19. With a launch video inspired by Michael Jordan and Spike Lee’s black-and-white TV spots from the ’90s, Ball’s latest sneaker will debut in a multicolored “Madagasgar” colorway, which is joined by a “New White” iteration with a gum outsole, and a clean “Lilac” version.
Some of the model’s sophomore features include a full grain nappa leather forefoot strap, reinforced spacer mesh and a midsole that provides “40% more rebound than standard EVA foam.” The major difference in this BBB release is its new, and affordable, price of $200 USD — you may recall the original ZO2 sneaker debuted at $495USD, was then recalled, remixed and then took months to arrive.
The new BBB ZO2.19 is currently available for preorder via BigBallerBrand.com. In case you missed out, you can read up on the NBA forcing Lonzo to cover up his new BBB tattoo.
