This past July, NexXthursday burst onto the scene and made an impact with the release of a high-profile collaboration with Quavo and Lil Yachty. Titled “Sway,” the record quickly began gaining traction across the internet and throughout the mainstream rap scene, earning millions of listens, streams and views along the way. Further propelling the hit-single, NeXxthursday returns with the record’s official music video.

Going down the animated route, Lil Yachty, Quavo and NeXthursday enter the cartoon realm for the high-energy “Sway” visual. “‘Sway’ was a record that was based on a true story of a wild night in the club and too much liquor,” NexXthursday explains to Complex. “I wanted to connect the fun vibe that I felt that night to the record alongside a trendy hook. When I hear ‘Sway,’ it just reminds me of fun vibes, so we wanted to go non-traditional with this video. I received great responses from the lyric video so I wanted to continue the concept by keeping it bright and fun. It’s just a feel-good song and visual.”

You can check out the animated video for NexXthursday, Quavo and Lil Yachty’s “Sway” single above, while NexX’s Natasha EP is set to arrive on October 13.

Earlier today, Yachty appeared on Zaytoven’s new project and linked up with Young Thug for the weird, warped “On Me” clip.
