Tee Grizzley Celebrates His Come-Up On "Win"
The Detroit phenom continues his rise.
Detroit phenom Tee Grizzley continues to crank out new, hard-hitting singles. With the weekend upon us, the Motor City rapper follows up his September collaboration with Meek Mill by dropping the triumphant “Win.”
Using today’s record to celebrate and reflect, Grizzley dishes out bars about his come-up, his future, the struggles that have surrounded his life and more. “Look me in my eyes, n***a I’ma win,” Tee Grizzley spits. “I’ma get this money, n*gga, I’ma live … had to risk it all just to win big.” Later, Tee Grizzley refuses to apologize for his persona and unrepentant commitment to street music. “This what they like, so I’ma make this sh*t,” Grizzley raps. “But even still, this my life I got to claim this sh*t — so even if they didn’t like it I ain’t changing sh*t.”
Last November, Tee Grizzley began his climb to the top with the release of the instant viral hit “First Day Out;” since then, he’s parlayed his initial wave of attention into a debut solo project, high-profile collaborative cuts on mixtapes from other up-and-coming street-rap stars, worked with Lil Yachty and more.
