Pablo Sotelo of Inner Wave connects with Shane of Banes World to drop the video for “Whoa.” The visual is directed by Sean Matsuyama of Millennial Films and follows the two singers who play as lovers who enjoy their day around town. They get matching tattoos, go shopping, grab bites to eat and take a ride in a lake while in a boat that’s shaped like a swan.

“Chris and I started with the idea that Shane and I would be lovers in the video then the concept evolved from there,” says Pablo Sotelo to HYPEBEAST. “Chris suggested we have a montage of pictures showing all the good times we had together and from there, ideas just started rolling. Once we got Sean (Millennial Films) involved we had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted to do. I think Sean had fun directing it since it was so different from the last video we did (“Balto”). We wanted something less serious, and more tongue and cheek.”

“Whoa” is produced and written by Pablo Sotelo but you can catch the group perform the song in a city near you. The group is currently on a big nationwide tour with HYUKOH right now and will be playing in their hometown on Oct. 7. For now, watch the “Whoa” video above.
