This past Sunday, Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.‘s season came to an abrupt, unfortunate end after the star athlete broke his ankle during a 4th quarter play against the Los Angeles Chargers. The day after, Beckham was placed on injured reserve and the Giants confirmed that he would soon undergo surgery on his fractured ankle. Later that night, Beckham underwent the aforementioned procedure and came out healthy, happy and strong; his latest Instagram post even revealed his plans to “be back better than ever.”

Directly following the completion of Odell Beckham Jr.’s ankle surgery and a brief rest, Drake popped into his hospital room to pay his friend a visit. Hanging out with him in the hospital yesterday, Drake took to Instagram to share a picture, complete with the caption: “Had to come visit bro…bounce back like 13 @obj ??(my 13 is backwards but it’s still bless).” Later, Beckham Jr. would also take time to remember the moment on Instagram, simply stating: “Cause this got that makin of a Legend feel @champagnepapi.” As Drake’s diehard fans probably remember, both men have forged a pretty close friendship over the past couple years — they even linked up on an overseas tour.

You can take a look at the Instagram posts involving Drake’s visit to Odell Beckham Jr.’s hospital room below.
