'Bad Boys 3' Filming to Begin in 2019, Releasing in 2020
Will Smith & Martin Lawrence are expected to reprise their famous roles.

The third film in the beloved Bad Boys franchise is finally set to begin production. Though the film (and its eventual sequel) was announced back in 2015, a lengthy period of negotiations and studio reshuffling has pushed each movie back by at least a year. Previously dubbed Bad Boys For Life, the Will Smith- and Martin Lawrence-starring movie was initially expected to hit theaters in early 2020, a goal upheld by new reports.
Details on the plot are scarce but reports indicate that Bad Boys 3 will showcase Lawrence’s Marcus Burnett working as a private eye, after falling out with Smith’s Mike Lowery. Lowery will have to work through a midlife crisis as he tangles with his new partner, a cocky, young recruit. Burnett and Lowery will be forcibly reunited after an Albanian mercenary places a hit on the duo, seeking revenge for the death of his brother.
Stay tuned for more information on the film, which is expected to launch by Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 21, 2020.
Elsewhere, Smith’s laceless Air Jordan 5 “Fresh Prince” recently hit stores.
