Anderson .Paak Talks About His "Trainwreck" Opening Show for Beyonce on 'Hot Ones'
As well as what it’s like to work with Dr. Dre and his love for Coldplay.
Grammy-nominated singer, rapper, drummer and producer Anderson .Paak dropped by Hot Ones to take a stab at the popular spicy wings challenge. While chowing down vegan chicken nuggets of increasing spice levels, Anderson discusses everything from his “trainwreck” opening for Beyonce at the Dodgers Stadium in 2016 (“That was one of the saddest shows of my life”) to what it’s like working with Dr. Dre.
He also touches on his approach to turning what people consider “white people music” to something more soulful, as well as defending his love of Coldplay. Anderson triumphantly makes it through the full round of hot wings with the help of some almond milk, ending the interview with a series of hot sauce ad-libs.
Watch Anderson .Paak get through the Hot Ones challenge above and stay tuned for his upcoming album Oxnard, dropping on November 16.
